The Arch Academy engages students in a rigorous standards based curriculum with one-on-one instruction and guidance from teachers and cross-aged tutoring.  Mastery based learning is expected to be achieved by all students. When mastery is not met by a student on initial basis, teachers work with students individually to ensure each student has mastered the necessary material.  Mastery based learning is expected for all students, while the style or method of learning is not held exact for each student. The Arch Academy understands that each student learns and thrives in their own individual method.  Students who are more visual learning oriented can complete their work through pictures or videos while some students may choose to read material on audio text provided. The Arch Academy promotes and expects each student to self-advocate for their own individual needs.  A staff member works with each student to create his or her own pacing guide, goals, and college plan.
