Family Support

The Arch Academy staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide support for all students and families. Support meetings are defined as guidance and education in accordance with the school model.

A Saturday Parent Support Meeting exists for the parents to learn more about the process of helping their children, themselves, and their families. Support comes from the staff as well as discussions from other families. Family support meetings are available to all families, and they are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity.

Executive Director Cheryl Zak offers a sibling meetings to assist siblings in understanding how they have been affected by the enrolled student and what changes they can expect.  Cheryl meets with siblings on Saturdays before the Parent Support Meetings. Siblings have the opportunity to discuss their own issues, make new friends, and help reach out to others. Sibling support is defined as guidance and education in accordance with the school model.

Arch Academy families also participate in a number of extra-curricular activities such as field trips and fund-raising. Team Arch Academy is a physical fitness program which includes a running program and a cross training program made available to students each Saturday between 10:00AM and 12:00PM. Students participate in various community based activities such as the mud run and 5k runs etc. The activities are conducted by The Arch Academy staff and are encouraged as a continuation of the physical fitness program provided through the school's academic week.
